I create hand-painted layered wood wall sculptures inspired by the natural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. Each piece begins as a pencil drawing on paper and then brought to life in laser-cut layers of wood that are intricately sanded, then hand-painted, securely glued together, and sealed for longevity.

By building imagery in layers, I explore depth, shadow, and the subtle movement created as light shifts throughout the day. I choose the wood for each piece, using paint and staining techniques that enhance the natural grain which adds even more texture and dimension. My color palettes range from earthy to vibrant, while pairing with natural wood tones.
